Default Language Settings

When you sign up for Autify, a default language (English or Japanese) is set for each organization.
For sites where the initial display language changes depending on the browser environment, the organization's default language setting will be applied to the language used when the site is initially displayed during test execution.

This organization's language setting is only valid for testing in the following execution environments, so English will be used for testing in any other non-target execution environments.

• Chrome / Linux
• Chrome / Windows 10
• Chrome / Mac OS
• Edge / Windows 10
• Edge / Windows Server
• All mobile emulations

Scope of influence of default language settings

This organization's default language settings also apply to

• The language of the invitation email sent when sending Autify account invitations
• The language of notifications posted to Slack when you connect to Slack

To specify the display language for test execution

To specify the language of the target site during test execution, use one of the following methods.

1. if the target site has a language-switching UI, include an operation to specify the language at the beginning of the scenario

2. if the target site has a URL (or pass a specific parameter) that can be used to determine the display in a specific language, specify that URL in the visit step

3. if the display language setting is held in a cookie, add a JS step at the beginning of the scenario and specify the value of the cookie in the JS step.
