Is there a maximum number of characters for entering text?

Although there is no limit to the number of characters you can enter when recording a scenario, if you enter a large number of characters, the following problems may occur depending on the compatibility between the application and Autify:

• The Autify Recorder stops working when creating the scenario
• Internal errors occur when running the scenario
• The test result page takes a long time to load or freezes

If issues occur in a step where a large number of characters are entered, we may investigate and ask you to use means other than Autify for testing. We appreciate your understanding.

If you are experiencing problems with text input, you may be able to work around the problem by using the following methods:

• Re-run the scenario.
• Use a JS Step to enter text.
