Just like with Slack integration, now it's also possible to receive test result notifications by email.
These notifications can be configured in either Workspace settings or Test Plan settings. What is great about email notifications is that you can specify conditions for which notification types to receive:
Test passed with but need review,
Test failed. You can specify any of these for each email address. Let's take a look at how to use it.
How to set up and delete Email notifications (Workspace)
Navigate to the Workspace Settings page.
Find the Email notification section. This is located right under the Workspace name section.
Enter the email address for where you would like notifications sent. By default, a notification email is sent regardless of the status of the result when a test in the workspace is completed.
If you would like to edit Notification type(s), click on the three-dot menu and click [Edit]. You can enable/disable notifications for any of the following statuses:
Test passed with but need review
If you feel the notification is no longer needed, then you can delete it from the three dot menu.
How to set up and delete Email notifications (Test Plan)
Navigate to the Test Plan Details page.
Find the Email notification section under the URL replacements section.
The rest of the process will be the same as the Workspace-level email notifications. The only difference is that notifications set in a test plan will be only sent when the specific test plan is finished.
Email addresses specified for notifications do not necessarily have to be that of the users in your Autify workspace. This will allow for a wide range of uses, such as sending notifications to group email addresses within your organization or to email addresses issued for chat tools other than Slack.
