# I haven't received the password reset email even though I clicked 'Forgot password?'

If you did not receive the password reset email after clicking "Forgot password?", please follow these steps.

![google_signup_1_en.png](https://cdn.document360.io/a099d8a2-cfd2-42ca-9906-68b4a337f4a5/Images/Documentation/google_signup_1_en.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-01T05%3A19%3A05Z&se=2026-11-01T06%3A19%3A05Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=XSD7iW0aGqfYS1KocvwncT%2BtOPdMDtJhuNSDQwyo8fw%3D)

1. Make sure that the email address you entered is correct and that the email isn't in the spam folder. The subject line of the email is "Reset Password". ![google_signup_4_en.png](https://cdn.document360.io/a099d8a2-cfd2-42ca-9906-68b4a337f4a5/Images/Documentation/google_signup_4_en.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-01T05%3A19%3A05Z&se=2026-11-01T06%3A19%3A05Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=XSD7iW0aGqfYS1KocvwncT%2BtOPdMDtJhuNSDQwyo8fw%3D)

2. If you've entered the correct email address, you may have signed up with your Google account instead of your email address/password. If this is the case, try signing in by clicking "Continue with Google" and following the prompts. Note that you can't switch from signing in with an email address + password to using "Sign in with Google" or vice versa. For more information, please read [this article](/v1/docs/en/can-i-switch-my-login-method-from-email-address-password-verification-to-login-with-google). ![google_signup_0_en.png](https://cdn.document360.io/a099d8a2-cfd2-42ca-9906-68b4a337f4a5/Images/Documentation/google_signup_0_en.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-01T05%3A19%3A05Z&se=2026-11-01T06%3A19%3A05Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=XSD7iW0aGqfYS1KocvwncT%2BtOPdMDtJhuNSDQwyo8fw%3D)
