The Labels feature makes it easier to classify and manage Scenarios and Step Groups.
Creating a Label
Labels can be created from the [Edit] link next to the title on the Scenario Details page, Step Group Details page, or from the Labels List page.
If you enter the name of an uncreated label in the [Label] input field, "Create new label" will be displayed. When you click this the new label will be created.
The created label can be used for both Scenarios and Step Groups.
Created labels can be applied to Scenarios and Step Groups using the following methods:
- On the Scenario Details Page or Step Group Details Page, click [Edit] next to the title.
- Search for the label by entering the label name.
- Click the label name.
- Click [Done].
Clicking the [Labels list] button in the upper right corner of the Scenarios or Step Groups list page displays the labels list.
On the Labels List page, you can:
- Create new labels
- Edit label names
- Edit label colors
- Delete labels
- Check how many Scenarios and Step Groups each label has been applied to
- Display a list of Scenarios and Step Groups for each label
Labels Display Location
Labels are displayed in the following locations:
- Scenarios list page
- Step Groups list page
- Test Plan details page
- Test Plan editing page
- Test Result details page
Filtering with Labels
Labels can be used as filter conditions on the list page.
Scenarios and Step Groups
Clicking the "Label List" button in the upper right corner of the Scenarios or Step Groups list and clicking the number of Scenarios/Step Groups next to the label name on the right side of the filter condition that you want to use for the filter condition allows you to display the list of Scenarios/Step Groups to which the label is applied.
Also, the label name is displayed at the bottom of the Scenario/Step Group name displayed on the list, and by clicking this label name, you can add filter conditions.
If multiple labels are set as filter conditions, the scenarios are searched using an AND search.
Click the "+" button next to "Filter", select "Scenario Label", and click the label you want to search for. Multiple labels can be specified, and the Test Plans that include Scenarios (OR search) to which any of the selected labels are applied will be displayed.
Test Results (Scenario)
Click the "+" button next to "Filter", select "Label", and click the label you want to search for. Multiple labels can be specified, and the Test Results of Scenarios (OR search) to which any of the selected labels are applied will be displayed.
- When duplicating a Scenario, the label applied to that Scenario is also inherited.
