# Release Notes - January 31st, 2023

## 1. Featured Releases 🚀

### Enhanced Video Logs 🎥

#### Cross-browser and real devices support

Video Logs, which were released late last year are now supported in most test execution environments, including **PC environments (Windows 10 and macOS)** and **real mobile devices (iOS and Android)**! We hope this will help you troubleshoot issues when your scenarios fail only in certain environments.

Due to technical reasons, **Video Logs for the Edge/Windows Server environment is only provided as a closed beta feature**. Please contact Support if you would like to enable Video Logs for Edge/Windows Server.

#### Step Markers in Video Timeline

We have also added **markers in the video timeline** so you can easily jump to a specific step in your Video Logs. If you click on each step on the right side of the test result, you can immediately move to the video playback position!

### More real mobile devices for test execution (iOS/Android) 📱

We have added a variety of new iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel devices for test execution. New iOS environments include iOS 16 devices.

These devices can be selected from Execution Environment Selection Page for Test Plans if you have a contract that includes real mobile device environments. If these envionments don't show up in your page and you are interested in upgrading your plan to use them, please contact us!

## 2. Other Updates ✨

### Environment updates

#### Browser Updates

We have updated the following browsers:

- Chrome 107 →  109
- Edge 107 →  109
- FireFox 106 →  108

#### Sunsetting support for old devices

As our external device farm no longer supports the following devices, we have removed them from the execution environments:

- Galaxy S8 Plus 9.0
- Pixel 8.0

### Improvements

- The file upload size limit has been increased from 10 MB to 50 MB. See the following document for details about this and other current limitations for file uploads:
  - [Can I test file upload?](/v1/docs/can-i-test-file-upload)
- If a step group used in a scenario changes, the step field of any steps following now displays "Unknown email address" in place of the missing addresses

### Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where the Recorder panel did not display the random email addresses in the initial recording when creating a scenario using a Step Group with a random email addresss
- Fixed the following layout issues with Test Result Details Page related to Video Logs
  - Fixed an issue where there was an extra white space visible at the bottom when scrolling down a result page with errors
  - Fixed a sizing issue for step lists so that they resize properly in response to Video Log player size and don't exceed the page's width
  - Made the Video Log player remain in view, even when scrolling to the bottom of the step list
- Fixed an issue where trigger timezones in Test Plans were always displayed as “JST” regardless of the organization’s timezone
- Fixed an issue where the screen can be horizontally scrolled when a test result has a long text to display
- Fixed an issue where URL replacement was not working for data table values when they were overridden in a Step Group
- Fixed an issue where an extra Insert button can be displayed at the end of the scenario
- Fixed an issue where a certain type of click (CDP click) doesn't work on an element in a cross-origin iframe during local replay
