With the update to Chrome and Edge 152, you can now use emoji and surrogate-pair characters (such as rare kanji like 𩹉) in Input Text steps. Previously these steps failed with “The input contains invalid characters.” — this was a limitation of the browser driver, and it has now been lifted upstream. No change is needed on your side; if you removed such characters from a scenario as a workaround, you can add them back.
