Overview of Send Email Feature

Send Email feature is a function that sends an email to a specific pre-registered email address during scenario run.

Prior preparation

Register a destination email address

In order to send an email using the Send Email feature, you must register the destination email address in advance. We will register the email address for you, so please contact our chat support team and let them know the email address you want to register.

Create a source email address

The source email address can be selected as either a random or fixed email address.
To use a fixed email address, please create a fixed email address as the source email address from the Workspace Settings.
To create a fixed email address, please refer to Create a fixed email address.
You can also use a fixed email address that you have already created.

Create Send Email Step

Recording the step

1. When you want to record the Send Email step, click the Email icon in the Autify Recorder.
   

2. Select the source email address from the list and click on the paper airplane icon.
   

3. Select the destination email address from the list, fill in the subject and body and click the “Send Email” button.
   

Add the step in the scenario editing page

1. Click the + button where you want to add the step, then select Insert Step -> Send Email Step.
   

2. Select the source and destination email addresses from the list and fill in the subject and body of the message.
   

Send email by running the scenario

Running a scenario with the Send Email Step added will send an email to the selected destination.
