Supported OS and browser versions (mobile)
Overview
Autify provides the following two types of execution environment for testing mobile websites:
- Simple environment using DeviceMode in Chrome DevTools
- Environment for operating real iOS and Android devices
Please refer to Are tests for smartphones possible? for details on the differences between these environments.
This article also explains how to record for mobile.
List of execution environments for mobile
As of August 21, 2020, executable environments are as described below:
"Emulator (Rapid execution)" uses DevTools in DeviceMode. This is available on all plans. "Mobile (Real device)" and "Tablet (Real device)" use real iOS and Android devices.
Numbers such as "13" written on the right side of the device name indicate the OS version. The OS version is not listed in "Emulator (rapid execution)" because it is not running on a mobile device.
Autify will use the browser the OS uses by default; it cannot be selected.
The following browsers are used:
・iPadOS:Safari
・iOS:Safari
・Android:Chrome
iOS
Please note: Although it is possible to run the test in any of the available options, due to technical restrictions, OS versions that are older than the two most recent versions are not covered by the operation guarantee.
Before using this feature, please be aware that some operations may be unstable. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
