This allows you to specify XPath locators in [Quick Element Update](https://help.autify.com/mobile/docs/en/quick-element-update) from the test result screen. Disabling it can speed up test execution, but XPath locators will no longer be available. Changing this setting will not affect already recorded steps. ### Delay between steps Delay to wait after each step. You can set the duration the system waits after each step is executed. The default is 3 seconds, and it can be set between 1 to 5 seconds. This setting is applied to all steps in your workspace, unless it is overridden by a scenario. Please note that Assertion, ML Assert, and Prompt Assertion steps are not delayed because no action is executed. ### Step retry timeout You can set the timeout duration for retrying a step when the target element cannot be found or an error occurs on a per-step basis. The default is 30 seconds, and you can specify up to 300 seconds. This setting applies to all steps within the workspace. If the application is slow or backend processing takes time, try adjusting this setting by extending the step retry timeout. Note that if you set it to 0 seconds, it will not be retried (not recommended). ### Device wait retry In the cloud real device execution environment, this feature allows you to specify the number of retries to wait for an available device when your selected device is [BUSY](https://help.autify.com/mobile/docs/en/overview-of-cloud-real-device-support). If the device is not allocated after the specified number of retries, the test will fail with an error. The default is 15 retries, and you can set it between 0 to 15. This setting applies to all tests within the workspace. Configuration Examples - 0 retries: Up to 15 minutes total wait time ($0 \times 15\text{ min} + 15\text{ min initial wait}$) - 4 retries: Up to 75 minutes total wait time ($4 \times 15\text{ min} + 15\text{ min initial wait}$) ### Skip tests on device timeout When enabled, if a [Device wait retry](/mobile/docs/settings-workspaces#device-wait-retry) is reached, all other tests in the running test plan that are assigned to the same device and "[a test that is waiting to start](https://help.autify.com/mobile/docs/test-execution-states)" status will be skipped automatically. ![Image](https://cdn.document360.io/a099d8a2-cfd2-42ca-9906-68b4a337f4a5/Images/Documentation/Screenshot%202026-05-01%20at%2014.23.01.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T12%3A38%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T13%3A38%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=9SYahH7OCrHemOcwIZmP9MebF3VZ4HcTj76TUYHhTW8%3D) ## Devices to use (for users using real devices) ![select_real_device(EN).png](https://cdn.document360.io/a099d8a2-cfd2-42ca-9906-68b4a337f4a5/Images/Documentation/select_real_device%28EN%29.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T12%3A38%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T13%3A38%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=9SYahH7OCrHemOcwIZmP9MebF3VZ4HcTj76TUYHhTW8%3D) A list of real devices available in the workspace are displayed. To change the real device you are using, follow the steps below. 1. Click the **Manage iOS Devices** or **Manage Android Devices** button. ![manage_device.png](https://cdn.document360.io/a099d8a2-cfd2-42ca-9906-68b4a337f4a5/Images/Documentation/manage_device.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T12%3A38%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T13%3A38%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=9SYahH7OCrHemOcwIZmP9MebF3VZ4HcTj76TUYHhTW8%3D) 2. The device management page appears. Number of available devices** The number of devices that you can have at a time depends on the number of parallels of your contract. If you would like to increase the number of devices, please contact our sales team. **2. Supported devices** The environments currently supported by Autify are displayed in **Available devices**. 1. (Optional) If you want to configure a fallback device, select a device. 1. A fallback device is a device on which the test will automatically be re-executed if a [Device Wait Timeout](/mobile/docs/settings-workspaces#device-wait-retry) occurs during test execution. 2. Click the **Save** button. ![Image](https://cdn.document360.io/a099d8a2-cfd2-42ca-9906-68b4a337f4a5/Images/Documentation/Screenshot%202026-07-07%20at%2012.14.04.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-07T12%3A38%3A58Z&se=2026-11-07T13%3A38%3A58Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=9SYahH7OCrHemOcwIZmP9MebF3VZ4HcTj76TUYHhTW8%3D) ## Members You can invite, delete, and view members. ## Slack Notification You can receive a notification on Slack when a test completes. This setting applies to all tests executed in the workspace. ## Email Addresses You can view and delete email addresses created with the Email Testing feature. By clicking on an email address, you can view a list of emails received by that email address. - [Email Testing Feature](/mobile/docs/en/email-test) ## Outbound IP addresses from Autify You can see the IP addresses that Autify uses to access your test server when running a test. If your test server restricts access from certain IP addresses, please allow access from the IP addresses shown in this section. ## Beta Features You can view, enable/disable features that are available in the Beta version. - [What is Beta (Public Beta)?](/mobile/docs/en/what-is-public-beta)
