Is there a maximum number of characters for entering text?

Although there is no limit to the number of characters you can enter when recording a scenario, if you enter a large number of characters, the following problems may occur depending on the compatibility between the application and Autify:

• Recording stops during scenario creation.
• Internal errors occur when running the scenario.
• Display of the test result screen takes a long time or the screen freezes.

If issues occur in a step where a large number of characters are entered, then after investigation we may ask you to reduce the number of characters or consider an alternate method for testing.
