Local Device sharing settings
When using a local device, you can configure the sharing settings of the connected device. This lets you either share the device with other users or block access from them.
How to configure
- Open Settings and select Local Device.

- A list of devices that have been connected in the currently selected workspace will appear.
- You can change each device’s display name in NoCode Mobile and modify its sharing setting.
Available sharing settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Personal | Only you can record or run tests with this device. The device is hidden from other users |
| Shared | All users in the workspace can record or run tests with this device |
| Disabled | This device does not appear in the selected workspace |
Newly connected devices are set to Personal by default.
FAQ
The device is not showing up
While the device is connected via Autify CLI, access NoCode Mobile; the device will then appear in the list.
If you use multiple workspaces, make sure the workspace where the device was connected matches the workspace you have currently selected.
Is a device set to Personal completely invisible to other users?
Other users cannot record or run tests with the device, but the device name may still appear in certain places (e.g., “Last Recording Environment” in a test scenario).
Can I add a Personal device to a test plan?
Yes. However, if another user runs that test plan, the test will fail with an error and will not be executed.
