# Release notes - March 30 2026

## ✨ New Features

### Advanced Settings for Test Plans

You can now configure `When this step fails` at the Test Plan level.

- This setting overrides the configuration defined in individual scenarios.
- Applies to:
  - Assertion steps
  - ML Assert steps
  - Prompt Assertion steps
- Affects all scenarios within the Test Plan.

**Use case** Use this feature if you want to set all steps to `Mark this step as failed and continue` to prevent tests from stopping mid-execution.

### Step retry timeout (Workspace settings)

You can now define how long Autify retries a step when:

- An element cannot be found
- A step encounters an error

**Use case** Increase this timeout if:

- Your app loads slowly
- Backend processing causes delays

### Wait Device retry timeout (Workspace settings)

You can now configure how long Autify waits for a cloud device to become available.

- If the device remains [BUSY](https://help.autify.com/mobile/docs/overview-of-cloud-real-device-support#busy%E3%81%8C%E8%A1%A8%E7%A4%BA%E3%81%95%E3%82%8C%E3%81%A6%E3%81%84%E3%82%8B%E3%83%87%E3%83%90%E3%82%A4%E3%82%B9) beyond the specified time, the test will fail.

**Use case** Adjust this setting if you frequently experience test failures or delays due to device unavailability.
