Introduction

This document explains the email testing feature and how to create and execute tests using email addresses.

The Email Testing feature

With the email testing feature, you can create an email address to use in a test and create/execute a test using an email address.
There are two types of email addresses:

  • [Random email address]: a different address is issued for each test execution
  • [Fixed email address]: the same address is always used.

You can use these email addresses to create tests to check the email content or tests that use a link within the email.

Please use a [random email address] for tests where you need to use a different email address each time, such as user registration that involves email authentication.
Please use a [fixed email address] for testing a contact form where you need a fixed email address.
