Updates ✨
Improvements
- You can now set custom locators for “Element Should Look The Same” steps
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue with basic authentication that caused tests that access multiple pages or send requests to different URLs within the same domain to incorrectly fail
- Fixed an error message when trying to use Google SSO to sign in with an email account that has already been registered manually in our system
Notice
We are planning to update Chrome and Edge test execution environments to use version 127 in the near future. This update will allow alerts that run before a page is unloaded to be handled automatically during test execution without creating a “Handle Alert” step in Autify. Other alert types will be unaffected by this change.
Please refer to the following page for more details about the different types of alerts.
https://help.autify.com/docs/can-i-record-alert-dialog
The following actions are required if "Handle Alert" is used for closing alerts that run before a page is unloaded in your scenario:
- If you currently test exclusively on Chrome or Edge, please be prepared to remove such “Handle Alert” steps from any impacted scenarios when we update Chrome and Edge to version 127.
- If you test on other browsers such as Firefox, you can keep the “Handle Alert” steps and set them to ignore failure during test execution instead.
If you require further information, please contact our support team.
